Motocross has been part of my life for 23 years now and looks like that isn’t going to change any time soon. I rode my first bike at the age of 4, and spent my first 3 years competing locally in minikana events. Then at the age of 7 I started racing Motocross and have been ever since.


Over the years I have raced in several countries including the USA, New Zealand & Indonesia. At age 15 I had the great experience of being selected to be part of an Elite MX Training Camp that travelled to the USA to train and race for 6 weeks, with the expert guidance of Stephen Gall. I also started to help Stephen at his coaching courses as an assistant instructor around the same time. I continued racing Motocross & Supercross professionally up until 2004. As a Level 2 coach, I then had the opportunity to pursue the coaching and training side of the sport.

I have been involved with Yamaha for 10 years now, working with what is now called the Yamaha Australian Institute of Motocross (Y-AIM). I have spent time at the Australian Institute of Sport working with Elite Rider programs. I have been lucky enough to gain plenty of experience in the USA over the years with some of the world’s best riders.

This lead to me working with Stephen Gall, as personal trainer to AMA Motocross & Supercross Champion James Stewart. I spent 6 months with arguably one of the best riders in the world, a learning experience that will be hard to match. This allows me to have a unique insight into what it takes to be at the top of this sport, and also have first hand experience working with some of the newest riding techniques in motocross today.

I am currently the Y-AIM agent for NSW. This position has me organizing and conducting Y-AIM riding schools for all ages & abilities throughout NSW. I also work with Nick Sullivan and the NSW Yamaha Junior Development Team Riders, helping with coaching and passing on racing experience. These riders sometimes attend the schools as guest demonstrators where you will have the chance to watch some of the fastest young racers in the country.

Together with the schools I am a contributor and test rider with DIRT ACTION Magazine. I also run all inclusive tours to the USA to attend AMA Supercross and Motocross events.
